Question: How do you get black marks off wood floors?

Try Windex or rubbing it with a tennis ball. that usually works, but if it doesn't, try a hardwood floor cleaner.

Try WD40 or Murphy's Wood Cleaner. Apply and let sit for 30 minutes and then rub off with a soft cloth. If this doesn't work there is a product called "Ooops " that is gauranteed to work. I gave you the first 2 suggestions because most households have this in their homes already.

• Sand the area of the floor where the stain is to remove the top level of finish and the stain at the surface level as well. • Bleach the raw wood. • Use household vinegar to neutralize the effect of the bleach when the stain has been removed by the bleaching process, • Re-stain the area and then finish the surface so it looks like the rest of the floor.
